January 1, 2008: SpartaCom ModemShare Millennium and MPNT have both been discontinued, and are no longer supported as of December 31, 2007. There will ne no further updates or patches and PC Micro is ending its support for customers that don't upgrade.

Both legacy solutions have known issues under the following operating systems:

Windows XP - Service Pack 2 (SP2) and later
Windows Server 2003 - Service Pack 1 (SP1) and later
Windows Vista - All versions
Windows Server 208 - All versions

These issues are due to changes that Microsoft made to the DCOM security settings in recent release of Windows.

Customers that purchased either product from us can request a free upgrade to the more advanced NetModem product, which is fully compatible with all the recent service packs.
